This perfume is VERY strong, it has amazing lasting power and silage. The cocoa and the coffee are always evident in the fragrance, beginning to end. The patchouli, thankfully, was only there to make the perfume last longer in my opinion, you can't really detect it, you know its there because the dry down comes across as pretty fresh, but its not overpowering. Billboards advertising the fragrance were scheduled for month-long runs; one began on February 7, 2011, on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, while another began running in Times Square on February 14, 2011. Beginning in April, 2011, an edited 30-second version of the promotional video for Reb'l Fleur was scheduled to be screened in 363 movie theaters for three months. Representatives for the fragrance had planned to hand moviegoers scented cards as they exited the theaters. Designed in the shape of a high heel, it has colorful ribbons wrapped around the bottle and the perfume liquid glows amber. Age recommendation: All ages, but might appeal to the older age demographic with its sophisticated bottle design This won't be the most sophisticated nor classiest scent you have smelled - but it is definitely fun. It's a celebrity fragrance and of course it's a sweet gourmand, but it is different, as it has some really bitter coffee and cacao among the fruity notes - it's sugary, it's fruity (I'm getting strawberry and some general sweet fruitiness) and yet it's deep and balanced by a rather bitter coffee/cacao/patchouli scent. Overall, this is a pretty unique and very specific scent in my opinion. It's not a bad scent, it's just not for me. Sadly it gave me a headache as soon as I sprayed it on. I can see why this has a cult following, and I do think it smells much more expensive than it is. I never would have guessed it's a celebrity scent. But it's definitely not a safe blind buy in my opinion. Final Rating: 8/10 – Affordable price and enticing scent – a great birthday present to buy for a friend. On me, there's barely any strawberry but the coffee, cacao and incense notes come through nice and intense. A slow burn, this one. It just about smoulders. Has more sexuality than actual femininity – like, I can see myself wild for a guy who wore this (I'm getting this scent on me, I guess, one way or another lol!) I can definitely smell patchouli, of all the patchouli containing fragrances I have, Rebelle gave the clearest patchouli but it's paired nicely with cacao, added a tad bit of coffee. All the while strawberry remains detectable just as an outer layer.

Got burned again! I did the same thing with Jessica Simpson's Fancy perfume. I'm looking over the notes and thinking "How can I NOT like this perfume when there's so many notes that I think would smell terrific and blend well with each other. Fancy didn't turn out so well for me and Rebelle didn't either.I have tried numerous fragrances with cacao,coffee notes;from cheap body sprays to superexpensive niche ones and Rebelle can beat most of them.it's truely unique and memorable and a must try for gourmand lovers This one is a lot more youthful and feminine, but it carries that same weight. As with most coffee fragrances that I have tried, I become anosmic to the coffee within the first hour of wear. That might just be the nature of coffee to me. I'm left with a patchouli/dark chocolate with a gentle underlying sweetness. This is sweet in the way that Angel by Mugler is, it's earthy and rich instead of dripping with sugar. If you don't like patchouli scents, I'd skip this because it is quite prominent. If you are like me and you dig patchouli based scents like Jimmy Choo EDP and Mugler's Angel, give it a shot! It is not like either of those perfumes, but it embodies a similar energy. Want to branch out and try other perfumes? Here are some alternatives to Rihanna’s perfumes (that won’t break the bank): Calvin Klein Euphoria While the bottle design is more elegant, this peachy fragrance doesn’t last as long which is a letdown. Make sure to keep this perfume on you for re-sprays if you are out. Its tones of red berries and coconuts hit you immediately, leaving an amber scent on you.

Rihanna Reb’l Fleur Love Always Rihanna: A dark and mysterious bottle, which perfume has tones of plum, peach, and coconut. It doesn’t last long and the bottle design doesn’t link to the actual scent of the perfume. My experience is similar to @Momopeach. Upon first spray there's a blast of strong patchouli. Then after the first 5 mins or so this disappates and the scent becomes more of a spicy cacao scent. It's quite well-blended so it's hard to make out individual notes, but I definitely don't get coffee at any point. What I'm getting is like a dark chilli chocolate with a plum jelly filling. As it continues to dry down it gets much creamier and sweeter, which I attribute to the strawberry, orchid and musk. I like the drydown much more than the opening or mid, although it's still not my cup of tea. However, I do like how this scent seems to cycle through all the different notes as it dries down - it's like being on a roller-coaster with no idea where you're going next.
