About this deal

I hate that he pushed her away because he was terrified of losing her and being her second choice, but with his home life it was understandable. I will say I got a little frustrated towards the end as I felt like Meave did the sucking up and would of been nice for Wes to be told about Matt by Liam and for Wes to show a little more remorse regarding his kiss with another girl. Makes me forget there’s a team of guys relying on me to lead them to victory against our main rival. I gave it 4 stars because I wished the supporting characters were developed more and that the relationships between the main characters and their friends/family were explored.

Meanwhile he shares the details of his father’s infidelity with her, and form a relationship despite the odds being against them. And aside from the romance, I also appreciated how it also centered around their own personal lives at home and at school.Because, once their differences were settled, it mattered very little in the end, because when they do finally interact, it's apparent to everyone involved that there really is nothing that sets them apart from each other. So, while it wasn't all that dramatic in pulling out the emotional punches, it was still a decent enough read. Her success was so overly looked, she won, she played she was involved and they overlooked her like she was nothing. I was disappointed with the lack of depth in the characters and even more so with the male narrator.

Despite their being a team of guys relying on Wes to lead them to victory against their main rival, he falls for Maeve. PLEASE TELL ME THAT IRL AMERICAN TOWNS ARE NOT SO OBSSESSED WITH HIGH-SCHOOL FOOTBALL AND THAT THE RIVALRY WAS JUST THE STUFF OF BOOKS?Os personagens que agiram como conflito amoroso entre eles também foi muito bem desenvolvido e não pareceu uma "encheção" de salsicha como geralmente é em histórias assim.

He lashes out, breaks up with her and kisses the girl he told her not to worry about… yeah I screamed when he did that. I feel this could be a sister movie to She's The Man which was adapted from my favourite play Twelfth Night. La relación entre ellos ha sido muy bonita, como han confiado el uno en el otro y como han luchado por dejar atrás la rivalidad entre ambas ciudades. You know that episode of Friends where Joey is writing a reference letter for Chandler and Monica's adoption and Ross teaches him to use a thesaurus to sound smarter? Also, the fact that the twin-brother chastised the heroine and said she "could've let down his bestie easier" tells you all about the toxicity of this character. It was two years later when they meet again and its the start of a secret romance not only because of the schools rivalry but also her brother is a quarterback player and her father is their coach. This was such a fun time, I was smiling so much it hurt and crying a bit at the end cause things got too real, and I didn't want it to be over. Maeve is a star football player for her high school and Wes is a quarterback playing for a rival school. The storyline didn’t need pages of intimacy being described as the character building was so good throughout, it was clear what was happening but easily brushed over. I see myself reading this simply because it had the brother’s rival trope and it’s one of my favorites.

I cant wait for his book because I hope the tension gets resolved and he eventually learns to get along with Wes. Charlotte lives in Rhode Island and when she isn’t writing spends her free time reading, at the beach, or snuggling with her Australian Shepherd.

I resonated with this book, she was overlooked so much, put second when she was just as amazing as her brother. I really liked it was really good the way that early bread crumbs in the story are used to close parts of the narrative in a really good way.
