Where Dans Tes Bras adds a good dose of cashmere to go along with the violet and musk, Touch keeps the violet leaf and musk front and center. Weak silage/projection is a GOOD thing for this frag: this is something you want someone close to you to notice.

Pepper notes are very contradictory to the rest of the notes, but strangely, complement the other notes really well and enhances the fragrance as a whole. I’m no violet or violet leaf expert, but I love the violet in Dans Tes Bras, and the violet leaf in Touch is wonderful. This is such a weird fragrance because it smells like your average blue fresh acqua scent, but then someone dumped a bag of sugar and powder into it. A cheap classic, fantastic for office jobs, or whenever you need to wear a white shirt - inoffensive, clean, professional, sillage is not overbearing or loud for your coworkers, just a simple way to add a little bit of professionalism to your work-outfit i found. Whether you’re dressing up for a special event or seeking an everyday fragrance, Burberry Touch is a solid choice that exudes elegance and refinement.

The artemisia and mandarin orange are a step behind; they create a light, green, herbal, and sweet citrusy note that adds depth to the opening.

Possibly old fashioned to some peoples tastes but I find it sweet and it gives me confidence all day long whilst knowing I’m not trying too hard to impress anyone and the only people who are going to smell it are those I’m either cuddling or sharing a car with. I have gone through hundreds of fragrances from all types of fragrance houses and this one will be a close favorite of mine even tho I denied it in my youth. This musky scent contains top notes of artemisia, violet leaf and mandarin, a spicy heart of nutmeg, white pepper and cedar on a woody base of tonka bean, vetiver and white musk.This recent descovered redundancy made me wonder what I've liked from Burberry Touch in the first place and the answer is simple: I remebered as pleasant only the first 10 minutes (not enough). It stars off green with a good hint of vanilla, then it creeps into the woody section while releasing musk.

The fragrance notes act gradually according to the fragrance pyramid, it is not clear, we can say that the fragrance is semi-linear. Burberry Touch has a sort of unique musky and powdery take to it, which some people love and some don't. The violet leaf, musk and pepper combine for a wonderful scent overall/anytime, but I feel it excels on these cool, damp, rainy and dreary days.

The citrus makes the opening nice and bright but the powdery violet comes through immediately to stay until the drydown.

The final dry down is quite powdery/musky and puts me in mind of frags I used to wear in the 70’s and eighties, sort of a “Jovan Musk Lite”.The performance is a bit lacking but the longevity is decent, whereby the base will linger on for some time. Lol, and this smells nothing like the great Bal d'Afrique, or Prada Amber Pour Homme, or Versace Dreamer, or a few others that dissapeared from the 'reminds me of' list after I thumbed them down.
