While I thought the author did a decent job remaining authentic with the time periods’ vocab during the 1950s and 1700s flashbacks, during the flashbacks from thousands of years ago the vocab started to sound suspiciously like the 21st century. I venture the comment, "newts" making her eye me suspiciously, before I explain that they are voracious consumers of tadpoles.now fast forward a few years later where the kids are a bit grown (the sons are in their mid/early twenties and the daughter is a tween)…. There is public access land running alongside the trackbed from the bottom of Burdale station approach which runs to within viewing distance of the southern portal.
