We have now phased out the biscuit that sat atop our Amaretto, the new style is made with white chocolate and chopped hazelnuts. Overall, the trip was really fun and it has helped with our Food Technology studies as we saw food safety laws being put into practise. Some mention they are lovely, scrumptious, and delicious, while others say they look disgusting, cheap, and unappealing.When I raised this with the Manager, I was told that it was supposed to be a dry cake (I’m not sure. I was really looking forward to going to Lessiter's as a birthday treat as I'd watched it being refurbished, but on our visit we were rather disappointed.
