About this deal

As my followers will know, suffering from anxiety and depression was a big catalyst in starting colouring and indeed creating this blog. Everyone needs a calm moment now and again, and that's why we've created these mindfulness colouring pages for kids.

Based on a calming nature theme, these simple but beautiful colouring pages, encourage mindfulness and creativity. We also have this Editable Mindfulness Name Colouring Activity and these Words of Encouragement Mindfulness Colouring Sheets. Last Name * Please enter a Last Name Please enter a valid Last Name, the maximum length is 50 characters. There are no rules or complicated step-by-step instructions in these pages and no need for expensive art and craft supplies. Colouring helps to lift your child’s mood, encourage forming positive coping mechanisms, learn how to mange and control anxious thoughts and feelings and act as a distraction from negative thoughts. You can do this by tracing your finger from one cloud to the next and breathing in and the tracing it back and breathing out. The illustrations are fairly simple without a huge amount of detail (which can be stressful on the eye to even look at sometimes), and feel very comforting and sweet. I love the Birthday Cake colour by numbers sheet and the Lion colour by numbers sheet for these activities. I understand you will use my personal data to improve services and send me marketing communications. She has since pursued a freelance career illustrating children's books and creating greeting card designs.

We have forest school on a Thursday and there's often a 15 minutes gap between the time we get back and when the children go for lunch, so nice to have something to hand to give them for that time. Here, over 80 hand-drawn illustrations – from grids to Art Nouveau florals, from Japanese waves to Medieval motifs – are just waiting for a touch of colour from pens, pencils, felt tips or paints. I then set down the sheets for my little boy to choose from and we matched the colours with the crayons. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.Twelve animals are available, including a bat, butterfly, dragonfly, elephant, fox, iguana, owl, raccoon, rhino, turtle, hermit crab and snail. However, I think some of my middle school students would like these type of activities too, as the curriculum gets very intense at times, and this would help their well-being too. Give children these resources and then ask them to create similar pictures based on their own favourite animals. Simply print out the colouring pages and keep them handy with a pack of pencils for those that might need a quiet moment.

I know an awful lot of people colour for the same reasons, and many colouring books profess to evoke mindfulness and calm in their owners. Whether it's jellyfish, sea anemones, dolphins, orca whales or charming corals, there is something for everyone in this delightful kit. Another fun breathing activity could be to count breaths and use colours, eg Breathe in 1/red, breathe out 2/orange, imaging the colours with each inhale and exhale. If you've completed all the tasks and activities set for the lesson, use these sheets as a great way to end the day.Simply ask your child to imagine they are blowing out a candle and get them to gently breathe in and out, taking a lovely Birthday Cake Breaths. A mixture of basic colouring, mindful colouring and monster actvities, all designed to spark creativity and create a sense of calm. When colouring, the brain remains in control of its thoughts and employs both sides of the cerebral cortex. We are currently closed while we move warehouse locations, but hope to be open again the beginning of Feb!

All you need to do is focus on the task with the intention of relaxing and your brain will thank you! My products have been created as a supportive tool to help children improve their emotional intelligence. For example, our Focus Breathing for a Calm Classroom PowerPoint teaches students (and teachers, too! The other option is to take a Lion Breath and ask your child to notice their inner bravery, then take a big breath and roar like a lion. You can help show the benefits of activities like this to children, so they can see the importance of practising ways to improve their wellbeing. These mindfulness colouring pages are fantastic resources to slot into your lesson or to use at home. This colouring book not only contains images to colour but words of advice and wisdom to really help you understand and deal with your feelings.
