About this deal

Thankfully, it comes almost completely built, with only the dart chamber and the batteries to be inserted. Extend the middle finger of your trigger hand to press the release button, then you can use your other hand to pop out the drum. It's the fastest motorized Nerf dart blaster, unleashing 5 darts per second to rain down a deluge of darts onto targets!

The N-Strike Elite Hyperfire Blaster is really easy to control, with an acceleration button/trigger to 'fire it up' and then a trigger to shoot. After all, how many other blasters have you used that let you fire 25 shots in 5 seconds with no modification? The age range is appropriate though, these darts don't half sting when they hit, and 6 year olds as a rule simply don't have the ability to be safe or accurate. I found it was jamming way too often compared to other full-auto blasters – my thumb got very sore priming my Hammershot as I fiddled around trying to get it unjammed on numerous occasions.

The blaster is suitable for ages 8 and up and has a high firing rate, making it perfect for outdoor activities. Our existing Nerf is teensy in comparison, and the Elite Blaster was in demand when they saw how fast the darts are when the trigger is pressed. So, let’s pop some fresh batteries in, and see how it matches up to my favourite full-auto blaster, the RapidStrike. These 4 or 5-star reviews represent the opinions of the individuals who posted them and do not reflect the views of Etsy. We’ve already got one Nerf, with precious few foam darts left, so getting this to try was very well received by my boys, and even my teen had lots of fun with it.

The “D” batteries are large and comparatively expensive too, so changing them regularly should be budgeted for. It is thought to be a successor to the N-Strike Elite RapidStrike CS-18, given the similarities in fully-automatic firing and clip loading. The only problem is that it does jam, especially if your darts are a little worn, and it got worse as the batteries got older. Today, we have millions of users a month from around the world, and assess more than 1,000 products a year. The dart it normally sitting in the barrel poking out slightly so I can grab it or sometimes pop a pen down the barrel to move it out. Released in late 2016, the NERF N-Strike Elite Hyperfire is a full-auto flywheel blaster, with some very cool, sci-fi styling.
