About this deal

Currently there are 3 Luba mower models: Luba AWD 5000, Luba AWD 3000, and Luba AWD 1000. The 3000 and 1000 models are designed for smaller yards and carry a smaller price tag. The AWD 3000 was recently redesigned to include omni directional wheels, which allows it turn much easier and lowers the chance of it damaging your lawn. Here’s a comparison of the 3 models. With a perimeter wire, firstly, someone has to install it – this means extra time if you do it yourself, or extra cost if someone else does it. Secondly, the perimeter wire can be damaged by animals or someone putting a spade through it - a break in the perimeter wire can be frustrating.Thirdly, if you want to change the area to be mowed, it means re-laying the wire. Finally, if you decide to move, you need to re-laying again the wire in your new lawn. If, like me, you have set up multiple zones, it’s also possible to set up a path between these and again, that’s all done within the app. This is great as it saves you from having to manually move the mower from one lawn to another. As with most robot lawn mowers, many of the features are universal. However, the exact combination and specifications help LUBA stand out from the rest. Here are some of the most notable features that make the LUBA robot mower appealing to homeowners worldwide. No Perimeter Wire

The Luba AWD 5000 is also equipped with three bump sensors so that, in the event it misses an obstacle (which is unlikely), it’ll touch it, reverse and mow around the obstacle. I was quite impressed with the fact that these sensors are adjustable or can be turned off completely using the app, if needed. However, the Luba AWD 5000 benefits from the latest technology which is a form of GPS known as Real Time Kinetics or RTK, for short. This is one of the most accurate methods and allows the mower to detect boundaries, obstacles and give a much more intelligent mow; but more on that later! Looking for a better way to maintain your lawn without the hassle of traditional mowers? Look no further than the Luba AWD 5000 Robotic Mower! In this comprehensive review, I take a detailed look at this cutting-edge lawn care technology and explore its features, benefits, and limitations. From its advanced all-wheel drive system to its intuitive controls and impressive cutting performance, I cover everything you need to know to decide if the Luba AWD 5000 is right for you. Whether you’re a seasoned lawn care pro or just looking for an easier way to keep your lawn looking its best, this review and video is a must-watch! Doesn’t have cellular connectivity so if it’s out of range of your WiFi, you won’t get the latest notifications, status, etc. (Luba does have a SIM slot, but the capability isn’t live for now)If you’re not sure what cutting height you should use, this smart system can even recommend one for you. For this example, the lawn size is 3000m2 and the robot model is a LUBA AWD 5000 that mows 500m2 per hour One last thought, the white design looks really sharp, but it gets dirty fast. That might make some want to clean it often, if not, you’ll need to be ok with it being more of an off-white finish. Mammotion Luba review wrap-up The customization options include cutting width, obstacle detection mode (off, 1, or 2), task speed, grid pattern, and more.

With Luba, forget all the above worries. You just walk with Luba along to draw vitrual bounderies, you can program your multi-cutting zones without the hassle of digging or burying the wires. Bluetooth bug I mentioned above seems to have been fixed with a software update, but with two software updates I’ve had to try twice each time to get them to install (on the bright side Mammotion is consistently putting out regular updates!)Once you have decided where to install the RTK station, it’s now a case of running wires through the charging station and connecting the power. You’ll also need to make sure that you find a suitable location for the charging station that’s level before you peg it into the ground. If you wish to use the mat at the front of the charging station, this will prevent the mower from wearing the grass as it turns to enter the station. Again, this mat needs to be pegged into the ground. App and Installation I also had an issue a couple of times where Luba would say it is disconnected from my WiFi, but will show as connected – I’ve then had to manually disconnect from my network, power-cycle Luba, and reconnect manually It’s also a great choice for people who have very specific and complex lawn needs because of the many adjustments and configurations available within the app. Conclusion
