Nell is our forty-something protagonist, she represents so many women, in our different ways. She is intimidated by the yummy mummy brigade, she isn’t proficient at yoga, hates air-kissing and high heels. These character traits tell me she is definitely one of my tribe. Confessions of a Forty-Something by Alexandra Potter will make you laugh, and it might even make you cry. Above all, it will remind you that you're not on your own – we're all in this together. I liked the format of the book especially Nell's Things I Am Grateful For at the end of each chapter. I find Nell just such a relatable character. She has faults, but she is loveable, and is just a great side character (still want her to have her own spin off) Că cel mai important lucru este sănătatea și viața și că nu-ți dai seama de asta până nu ești pe punctul de a le pierde.
